How does escrow protect me?
When you book, your payment is held by our payment partner. It's only released to the provider when you confirm the work, or automatically 72 hours after delivery if you don't respond. If something goes wrong, you can raise it before then and the money stays held until it's resolved.
How are providers vetted?
Every provider verifies their identity with a government ID and a live selfie. Providers who do home jobs also pass enhanced checks, including an insurance certificate, a background check and our home safety training.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Cancelling before a provider accepts is free. After that, a small fee applies depending on how far the provider has got. The full policy is in our cancellation policy.
How do providers get paid?
Everything released in a week is paid out on the following Wednesday. Choose how: straight to your bank through Stripe, to PayPal, or to Payoneer, which works in Jamaica and pays out to local banks.
